SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed about the substantial number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The provider place created for intervention experiences a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the click here Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to empower the servicing of all shoppers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
